VARALAKSHMI SABUDANA KHICHDI ( ROASTED )

Ingredients :
  • Varalakshmi Premium Sabudana - 1 cup
  • Potato – 1/2 medium boiled and cut into small pieces
  • Peanuts - Roasted and ground
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriandar leaves - 1/3 cup chopped
  • Green chilli - 2 chopped
  • Oil – 4-5 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 pinch
  • Rock salt- according to the taste
Soaking Method :
  • Soak Varalakshmi Premium Sabudana in water for 15-20mins
  • After soaking, drain the water completely
  • Set it aside, as its for atleast 3 hours
  • Now the Sabudana is ready to Cook
Preparation Method :

Into a big mixing bowl, add Soaked Varalakshmi Premium Sabudana,ground peanuts and rock salt. Mix them well. Heat the oil then add cumin seeds and green chilli. Stir it for few seconds. Add boiled potato pieces and stir it for a minute. Add sabudana mixture and sugar to it. Keep roastingin low flame until the Sabudana becomes translucent. Put chopped Coriandar leaves and mix them well for few seconds. Turn off the flame and serve hot.

Ingredients :
  • Varalakshmi Premium Sabudana - 1 cup
  • Potato – 1/2 medium boiled and cut into bite pieces
  • Potato wafer bits
  • Peanuts - Roast and ground
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriandar leaves - 1/3 cup chopped
  • Green chilli - 2 chopped
  • Oil – 2-3 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 pinch
  • Rock salt- according to the taste
Soaking Method :
  • Soak Varalakshmi Premium Sabudana in water for 15-20 mins
  • After soaking, drain the water completely
  • Set it aside, as its for atleast 3 hours
  • Now the Sabudana is ready to Cook

Ingredients :
  • VaralakshmiCeylon NylonSabudana - 1 cup
  • 2 Chopped Onions cut to small pieces.
  • Peanuts - Roast and ground
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriandar leaves - 1/3 cup chopped
  • Red chilli - 2 slit
  • Turmeric – 1 pinch
  • Oil – 4-5 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 pinch
  • Salt- according to the taste
Soaking Method :
  • Soak Varalakshmi Ceylon Nylon Sabudana in water for 15-20 mins
  • After soaking, drain the water completely
  • Set it aside, as its for atleast 3 hours
  • Now the Sabudana is ready to Cook
Preparation Method :

Into a big mixing bowl, add Soaked VaralakshmiCeylon NylonSabudana,ground peanuts and Salt.Mix them well. Heat the oil then add cumin seeds, chopped onions, turmeric and redchilli. Stir it for few seconds. Add sabudana mixture and sugar to it. Keep roastingin low flame for 10-15 minutes. Put chopped Coriandar leaves and mix them well for few seconds. Turn off the flame and serve hot.

Varalakshmi Sabudana Laddoo

Ingredients :
  • 1 cup Varalakshmi Premium Sabudana
  • ¾ cup desiccated unsweetened coconut
  • ½ or ⅔ cup powdered sugar or as required
  • 6 to 6.5 tablespoon oil or ghee
  • 9 to 10 cashews, chopped
  • 4 to 5 green cardamoms, powdered
  • ¼ teaspoon grated nutmeg (jaiphal)
Preparation Method :

Roast the Varalakshmi Premium sabudana (tapoica pearls) in a kadai or pan on a low flame. They will swell a bit and become crunchy and light brown. This process will take approx 25 to 30 minutes on a low flame. Cool the pearls completely and then grind to a fine powder in a dry grinder. Also lightly roast the coconut for 2-3 minutes. No need to brown the coconut. In the same pan where you have roasted the coconut, add the ground Varalakshmi Premium sabudana powder and sugar. Mix well and keep aside. Heat the 5 or 6 tbsp oil/ghee in a small pan. Add chopped cashews and fry them till golden. Pour this whole mixture of oil and browned cashews into the sabudana + coconut + sugar mixture. Also add cardamom powdered and nutmeg. Stir very well with a spatula or wooden spoon. Then when the mixture is still lightly hot or warm, make medium sized balls from it. VaralakshmiSabudanaladoo are ready to be served.You can also store Varalakshmisabudanaladoos in an air tight container in the fridge for a week.

Varalakshmi Sabudana kheer

Ingredients :
  • VaralakshmiPremium or MothiSabudana (Sago Pearls) - 1/2 Cup
  • Milk - 4 Cups Milk
  • Sugar - 4 Tsp
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Saffron - 4 to 5 threads
  • Water - 1/2 Cup
Soaking Method :
  • Soak Varalakshmi Premium Sabudana in water for 15-20 mins
  • After soaking, drain the water completely
  • Set it aside, as its for atleast 3 hours
  • Now the Sabudana is ready to Cook
Preparation Method :
  • Heat the milk in a heavy bottomed pan over medium flame.
  • When milk comes to boil add soaked Varalakshmi PremiumSabudana. Cook them for around 10-15 minutes,until they turn transparent and soft.Make sure to stir continuously.
  • Add sugar to it & let it dissolve. Lower the heat and add cardamom powder.
  • Stir continuously and cook until milk turns thick. It will take approx. 5-7 minutes.
  • Turn off the flame and transfer prepared VaralakshmiSabudanaKheer to a serving bowl.
  • Garnish it with sliced almonds and serve warm or chilled.

Varalakshmi Sabudana Vada

  • Soak 1 cup sabudana or tapioca pearls in water
  • Take the sabudana pearls in a mixing bowl and keep aside.
  • Take the boiled with crushed potatoes crushed peanunts
  • Now add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1.5 teaspoons sugar and salt as per taste. You can add less or more sugar as per your taste preferences. Mix the entire mixture very well.
  • Now take some portion of the mixture in your hands and shape them into a flat round vada or patty
  • Heat oil for deep frying in a kadai. Put the vada step by step and fry until it changes its colour.
